Hardy Perennial - can be grown as an Annual
Description: Mound shaped habit with pure white petalled flowers with golden yellow centres centres. Better suited to larger size pot production. Sowing Instructions: Sow on to the surface of moist seed sowing compost and very lightly cover the seed with vermiculite. Propagate at 18 to 20 c and germination should take place within 10 days. As the seedlings emerge and begin to become established cool them down to 15 c as soon as possible to avoid stretching, and down to 10 as they become established. Growing Instructions: The summer sowings will need to be grown as cool as possible and it is advisable to shade the young seedlings from direct sunlight in the early stages. Grow on the seedlings from the January sowings at around 10c and pot on into a 10cm or 1 litre pot or 3 plugs in 2 or 3 litre pot for sales in late June or early July. The summer sowings will establish quickly and can be potted in the same size pots as above and then kept over winter for sales in flower in late May and early June the following year. To achieve the best possible compact plants use the growth regulator B nine on this variety. Caution: May cause skin irritation |
