Description: This favourite English cottage garden flower has a beautiful mix of soft appleblossom and peach blooms. Ideal for the back of the border. Excellent as a cut flower.
First year flowering.
Final garden height: 200cm (6½ feet).

Sowing Instructions: Sow on to a moist seed sowing compost in a 150 cell plug tray or slightly larger unit if preferred. Cover well with 5mm of vermiculite and propagate at 18-20C (65-80F).
Germination should take place after 7 to 10 days. Plug sowing is by far the best option, as hollyhock does not like the root disturbance of pricking out and can be susceptible to damping off.

Growing Instructions: Grow on at 15C reducing to 10C (50F) as the seedlings develop and fill the tray. When the plug plants are established - generally 6-8 weeks from sowing - pot on into 1 litre pots for sales in April/early May or pot 3 plugs in a 2 or 3 litre pot for later sales in flower in late June.
